Burnham Park hall is also available to hire for exclusive use on a Saturday or Sunday for large events such as wedding receptions from 9am to midnight. Prices start £1,000: Please contact the hall manager to discuss your particular event, and they will be happy to quote you a price. â€‹

Please note that no alcohol can be brought on to the premises. All alcohol must be purchased from our licensed bar on site.

Dropmore Hall

Dropmore Hall

The Dropmore Hall is the largest hall in the Burnham Park complex, situated on the ground floor with easy access from the car park.

It is ideally suited to large parties, weddings and conferences with a seated capacity of up to 130 guests. 

The Dropmore Hall has projection facilities with HD capability, free Wi-Fi internet connectivity, HD sound delivery and full air conditioning.

With sprung timber floors, floor to ceiling windows with a view to the courtyard, the Dropmore Hall provides a spacious, modern and airy environment for any large-scale event.

Huntercombe Hall

Huntercombe Hall

The Huntercombe Hall, is the second largest hall in Burnham Park and is situated on the ground floor with easy access from the main lobby. It is adjacent to the larger Dropmore Hall and is close to the bar, cafe and courtyard.

The hall has full projection facilities with free Wi-Fi internet connectivity, HD sound delivery and air-conditioning.

With a capacity of 50 people (Theatre style), The Huntercombe hall is perfect for civil wedding ceremonies (which may be followed by a reception in the neighbouring Dropmore Hall). The hall is also ideal for conferences, training sessions, meetings and other functions such as christenings, birthdays and wakes.

With sprung timber floors, oak clad walls and feature lighting, the Huntercombe Hall provides a light bright and contemporary venue for any function, meeting or conference.

Meeting Room 1

Meeting Room 1

Ideally suited to board meetings, training sessions and small classes. Meeting Room 1 also offers the perfect complement to the larger halls and can serve as a breakout meeting room.

The room has a capacity of 25 and offers full projection facilities with free Wi-Fi internet connectivity.

Meeting Room 1 is situated adjacent to the Huntercombe Hall and is accessible from the main lobby.

Meeting Room 2

The Paul Sherriff Room

​Ideally suited to board meetings, training sessions and small classes. Meeting Room 2 also offers the perfect complement to the larger halls and can serve as a breakout meeting room.

The room has a capacity of 25 and offers full projection facilities with free Wi-Fi internet connectivity.

Meeting Room 2 is situated on the first floor and is accessible by lift.

Meeting Room 3

Meeting Room 3

Meeting Room 3 is located on the first floor, which is accessible by lift and has a capacity of 15. This room has no projection facilities built in but a portable projector is offered if needed.  

No fireworks, confetti, confetti cannons or ball games are allowed.

 

Our fully-equipped kitchen is available to hire at a rate of £20 per hour.

We no longer host 16-21 year birthday parties.

Meeting rooms must be hired for a minimum of 3 hours on the weekend.

​

Meeting rooms are not suitable for children's birthday parties.

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS​

  1. The Hirer shall complete, sign and return a copy of the Booking Form and by doing so shall accept and be bound by these Conditions.

  2. Access to the halls will only be permitted for the hire period booked plus 30 minutes prior to hire and 30 minutes after hire.  Any time needed additional to this must be paid for at the standard rate with notice given in writing 30 days prior to the date of the booking.

  3. To ensure our neighbours are not disturbed use of the gardens/grounds should cease by 11pm.  All children/guests should be in the building by 11 p.m. and outside doors should not be left open.  Hall users are requested to leave the premises quietly.

  4. Fireworks, candles, confetti cannons, confetti and any variations thereof (glitter, petals, etc.) are strictly prohibited within the grounds of Burnham Park Hall and are not to be used under any circumstances.

  5. There is a zero tolerance policy against any illegal drugs or “legal highs” being brought onto the grounds of Burnham Park Hall. Any illegal/legal high substances brought onto the grounds during a booking will result in the event being shut down and no refund given.

PURPOSE OF HIRING

5.   The premises hired shall not be used for any purpose other than that stated on the Application Form.

6.   All intoxicating liquor consumed on the premises must be purchased from the bar. There is no licence for “off sales”.  Monitoring will occur during the event.

7.  The Parish Council holds a Public Entertainment’s Licence and Theatre Act Licence to cover halls and grounds at Burnham Park Hall and the said Licence is available for inspection in the foyer of the building.

8.  The Parish Council pays royalties to the Performing Right Society Limited annually. No charge is made to Hirers for this service.

 

HIRER’S RESPONSIBILITIES

9.   The Hirer shall be solely and personally responsible to the Council for the following matters:

(a)  The conduct of all persons coming onto or using the premises including the hall grounds in connection with the hiring.

(b)  That all such persons leave the premises at the end of the evening.

(c)  No illegal drugs or “legal highs” are to be brought on to the premises.

(d)  No alcoholic drinks to be brought on to the premises.

(e) That no gambling, gaming or wagering and no riotous, unlawful, disorderly or unseemly conduct or activity takes place on the premises.

(f)   That at the end of the hiring:

  1. The hirer is responsible for cleaning up the hall immediately after the event and ensuring that the premises and all such furniture, fittings and equipment as aforesaid are left clean and tidy. 

(ii)   All litter and rubbish is taken away or placed in the proper dustbins or receptacles provided for that purpose. 

(iii)  All equipment brought into the venue by the Hirer or contractors, must be removed at the end of the hired period.

10.  That the Hirer (or a nominated person) is responsible for the venue during the hire period and should remain on the premises at all times when the public are on the premises.

11.  The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that the Conditions of the Premises Licence are properly observed during the period of hire. The Conditions of the said Premises Licence are displayed in the Public Bar.

12. In the event of any failure by the Hirer to discharge his responsibilities under the foregoing conditions, they shall be solely and personally responsible to the Council for replacement, cleaning or otherwise as the result of the Hirer’s said failure.

13.  Hirers must familiarise themselves with the Fire Regulations and instructions and procedures in the event of a fire, which are set out in the attached appendix.

GENERAL MATTERS

14. The Hirer and all persons coming onto or using the premises in connection with the hiring must accept the premises in the condition they find them, and neither the Council nor any other officer or agent of the Council can accept responsibility for any inadequacy or unsuitability of the premises or for any defects or possible sources of danger not actually known to them.

15. The Council accept no responsibility for loss of or damage to any vehicle, clothing, jewellery, money or other property of the Hirer or any other person coming onto or using the premises or otherwise in connection with the hiring.  Car parking is at the car owner’s own risk.

16. The Parish Council do not accept bookings where payment is made at the door on the date of the hire unless agreed otherwise in writing by the General Manager.

 

CANCELLATION OR ALTERATION OF BOOKING   

                

17.  Notice of the cancellation of a booking must be given in writing to the General Manager.  In all instances of cancellation the £100 booking deposit is non-refundable.  Such charge may be waived at the sole discretion of the General Manager.

18. The Council reserves the right to charge an administration fee to cover the costs of changing or altering a booking.

19.  The Council reserve the right to cancel any booking at short notice upon the terms that the booking fee is refunded in full and that the Council are not responsible for any loss or inconvenience caused to the Hirer by such cancellation. The right thus reserved to the Council is absolute and unfettered and the right will not ordinarily be exercised except in circumstances of emergency beyond the Council’s control.
