How much does it cost to hire the halls?
Our charges are based on the size of the Hall and the day of the week. Each Hall has its charges clearly displayed on the pages. Go here to see the halls and select the most appropriate for your event.
Can we use your kitchens to do our own catering?
Our kitchens are in daily use by our in house chef team,they are not available to be used by hirers or contract caterers. If you wish to supply your own catering, we suggest you instruct a company of contract caterers, who will need to supply there own heating, cooling and storeage equipment, cutlery crockery and disposal service.Your caterers will also need to supply any service staff you require. Can we run our own Bar?
No, Burnham Park is licenced by the local authority to serve alcohol under the supervision of the designated premises supervisor only.No drinks will be allowed on the premises unless supplied by Burnham Park.
Can we make our own tea and coffee for our meetings?
Yes, we can make a small water heater available to you if you wish to bring along suitable drinking cups and ingredients. Dropmore Hall has a small kitchenette with cups, saucers and a sink, but this is only available to hirers of that hall. All crockery must be cleared away by the hirer.
How many people can you cater for?
Dropmore Hall can seat 180 for dining and our kitchens are equipped to deal with at least that number.Some example menus are here

Are tables and chairs included in the hire?
Yes, we will layout the rooms to a pre-agreed plan for you, or if there is no plan your required amount will be placed in the Halls.We supply bare faced tables only, but can by prior arrangement supply linen, but we do need at least 14 days notice. There is a charge for linen as it is supplied by an outside contractor.
Can you arrange a DJ or Band.
Yes, we have a selection of DJ's and Bands that we have worked with before, and also a short list of some who have offered their services. We are in contact with a number of agencies who can supply most needs. We will charge these at cost.
What are your charges for catering?
It varies but as a rule of thumb,simple sandwich buffets start at £3.85 per person and a three course service starts at £19.99 per person. As with all catering, prices vary with your selections and we will be happy to quote you personally for your functiion.
